Mission MOHO: A Race to the Moho Discontinuity Empty Mission MOHO: A Race to the Moho Discontinuity

The Mohorovicic Discontinuity, or "Moho", is the boundary between the crust and the mantle of the earth. It was was discovered in 1909 by Andrija Mohorovicic , a Croatian seismologist. It occurs at an average depth of about 8 kilometers beneath the ocean basins and 32 kilometers beneath continental surfaces.

"No one has ever been deep enough into the earth to see the Moho and no wells have ever been drilled deep enough to penetrate it. Drilling wells to that depth is very expensive and very difficult because of the extreme temperature and pressure conditions. The deepest well that has been drilled to date was located on the Kola Peninsula of the Soviet Union. It was drilled to a depth of about 12 kilometers. Drilling to the Moho through oceanic crust has also been unsuccessful."

But they are very determined to change all that. While our world seems to falling apart at the seams ( pun intended...lol) economically, they seem to have unlimited funds for the Mission Moho. It was a proposal that was submitted to the The Integrated Ocean Drilling Program (IODP)in April 2007, and is anticipated to last 10 to 15 years , with the ambition to drill completely through intact oceanic crust formed at a fast spreading rate, across the Moho and into the uppermost mantle.

Knowledge of the Moho, the crust-mantle boundary and the rocks of the upper mantle is fundamental to understanding the geodynamics and differentiation of our planet.

Apparently, they have using satellite missions to measure the magnetic field of the earths crust. The MAGSAT is one such mission.( I thought those satellites were for our enslavement) The “MoHole” is planned as the final stage of Mission Moho, which requires non-riser and riser drilling, geophysical site surveys and the development of new technology including the construction of a +4000 m riser.

Funding Agencies for this project are:

The U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) and Japan’s Ministry of Science
The European Consortium for Ocean Research
The People’s Republic of China Ministry of Science and Technology.
    Korean Ministry of Science

Note the areas on the globe which are only 10 kilometers to the Moho. Me thinks thats where they will be drilling.

its interesting how the moho is the thickest underneath the Himalayas

they're probably making more room for the elites to hide underground

    good research Pixie

These are the actual drill sites. I believe they attempted one last year in or around the Azores and "got close" to their target....
Yeah, the Himalayas and the Andes are both 70 kilometers to the Moho It intrigues me to think that there are ancient portals to the MOHO. They`ve got to be in areas where the crust is relatively thin. The area around Madagascar and Antarctica , Cuba and Japan seem to be rather shallow. But it`s really the oceans that have the thinnest crust. Submarines really would be the best way to get there..lol

huh, atlantis massif? atlantis bank? ...what are the chances that 2 of the 4 drill sites of the Moho run are named Atlantis? is someone trying to tell us something here?

also, you mentioned the Andes for having deep moho...this is significant, cause i've been following a researcher who's been studying aspects of the Andes for years. the elites of the ancient native american civilizations say they've survived in the Andes when the previous worlds (or ages) were destroyed. ill find more on this researcher and post it later

ha ha...I noticed that too. A drill site/fracture zone in the Indian Ocean named "atlantis bank" does seem a bit odd...
Whosoever the Ancient Andeans were, they used the same kinds of symbolism as the Egyptians...
