I've always had a theory that the traditions of ancient priesthoods were just some of the earliest scientists who figured who rudimentary laws of nature to bedazzle unknowing masses with their supposed "magic."
Like Clarke's laws of prediction which states that any science or technology which is more advanced to an unknowing observer always appears to be magic. The host of the show briefly touches upon this subject. Its good to see the veil of abusive superstition lifted in a public setting.
